At this age, toddlers are meeting new challenges as fast as they come. Crawling, walking, and eventually running are levels they accomplish in what seems like a blink of an eye. Children learn best if they are in a stimulating environment. Music, stories, outdoor play, and learning simplicities envelop much of the day. Our team is dedicated to helping each child develop these skills through a trusting and loving relationship and work around their specific needs. 

Our toddlers program serves children ages 2-3 years old.  Each toddler will receive individual attention throughout the day.

This room is our transitional room from toddler-hood to preschool. Potty training is a goal during this developmental period.   

The Toddler staff coordinates a basic routine learning center free play, outside play as well as structured activities and group time.  Activities and learning centers include all areas of development and are theme related.  Our curriculum includes basic learning units and themes. Toddlers are introduced to phonics.  

Toddlers will nap once midday. Our Toddlers will nap on cots.  

While toilet training, parents are responsible for providing lots of wipes, thick training underwear, plastic pants, socks, and outer clothing. We do not prefer the use of “pull-ups” at Tiny Treasures, they seem to only delay the toilet training process plus require extra time to change. We recommend that your child be dressed in "user-friendly" clothing. Overalls, zippers, and snaps are difficult for small children to manage--especially in a hurry! 

Toddlers will receive Breakfast, Lunch, and and a Snack.  

The student teacher ratio for this classroom is 8:1
